We understand that you are wanting your hat to be cleaned, reshaped or stretched but unfortunately we are currently not offering this service at the our Workshop. We apologise for any inconveniences this may have caused but please head to our Help Center to see the list of Authorised Refurbishers around Australia. 


If you need to replace a sweatband, outer band, pin, or lining on your Akubra hat, we’re happy to help organise this for you.

To request a replacement, please email our Customer Service team with the information outlined below.

What We Need From You

To get started, please provide the following details so we can create an invoice for your replacement item:

  • Full name

  • Phone number

  • Email address

  • Shipping address

  • Size of the Akubra with the damaged or missing component

  • A clear image of the Akubra showing the damaged or missing band/lining/pin

What Happens Next

Once we receive your email and the above information, our team will:

  1. Confirm availability of the requested replacement component

  2. Create an invoice for purchase

  3. Send the invoice to you via email for payment
